Terms of service
Ownership and description of service
datajackpot.net and the DataJackpot platform are owned and operated by HENCO VENTURES LLC (the “Company”). DataJackpot is a data aggregation platform covering building permits, parcels, contractors, and related public real estate records across the United States. The data is collected from government portals, open-data feeds, and direct FOIL, FOIA, and OPRA requests. All payments for DataJackpot products are made to HENCO VENTURES LLC.
Access and licensing
Access to the data is licensed. License scope, delivery method, term, and fees are set out either by the self-serve plan purchased on this site or by a separate agreement between the Company and the customer. Preview access is provided as-is for evaluation and may be limited or withdrawn at any time.
Subscriptions and billing
Self-serve plans are billed through Stripe to HENCO VENTURES LLC, the company behind datajackpot.net, on a monthly or annual cycle, and renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your account's billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and already-billed amounts are not refunded except where required by law. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of record-credits (one credit per record returned); unused credits do not roll over, and allowances reset each calendar month. Plan prices may change with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
Data accuracy
The data is sourced from public government records and provided “as is.” The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data. Users should independently verify any information before acting on it. The Company is not responsible for errors in source data from municipalities.
Acceptable use
Users may use the data for their own business purposes (lead generation, market research, underwriting, product development, and similar). Users may not resell, redistribute, or republish the raw data in bulk except as expressly permitted by their license. Users may not scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data beyond the access their license grants, and may not use the data for harassment, stalking, or any illegal purpose.
Account and privacy
The Company collects email addresses and, where provided, business details and data preferences. The Company may send product-related email (new features, data updates). The Company does not sell user contact information.
Intellectual property
The underlying public records are public. DataJackpot’s proprietary value is in the collection, normalization, linking, and presentation of that data. The platform’s UI, branding, schema, and derived analytics are the property of HENCO VENTURES LLC.
Limitation of liability
DataJackpot is not liable for business decisions made based on the data. Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the prior three months.
Termination
DataJackpot may terminate access that violates these terms. Customers may cancel as provided in their license agreement.
Changes to terms
The Company may update these terms and will notify users by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
